At the Greenwood Theatre
In May 2012 we moved to the 450 seat Greenwood Theatre near London Bridge. This show was far bigger and more ambitious than anything we'd done before.
At the Arts Depot, Finchley
Never ones to keep doing the same thing for long, our most recent production in November 2012 was at the Pentland Theatre in the Arts Depot, Finchley.
Choirs Rock 2012
On Sunday 26 February we were guest performers at Choirs Rock 2012, a choir competition held in the Royal Armouries in Leeds. It was a fantastic, glittering, sell-out event which raised money for Cancer Research UK and local community charities.
The show was compered by Radio Aire's Rich Williams and the three judges were Kaiser Chiefs singer Ricky Wilson, experienced choir master Rev Chunky and Adam Street Singers' own Neil Robinson!
Leeds-based choirs The White Rosettes and Gay Abandon made it through to the sing-off stage and in a text vote it was Gay Abandon who took home the coveted Choirs Rock trophy. All 5 choirs performed brilliantly and a fantastic night was had by all.

Festibelly
The Adam Street Singers made their festival debut at Festibelly on Saturday 27 August 2011.
We played a set in the acoustic tent which went down an absolute storm! The Terrapin Acoustic Tent was packed with around 300 all singing, all dancing and all arm-waving audience members. It was a brilliant day and we were delighted to be asked back for Festibelly 2012 where again we had a whale of a time and were a huge hit with the audience. Pictures to come!
Flashmob Proposal
When choir member Adam King asked for our help with his proposal to long-term girlfried Lucy Rogers, little did we know where it would lead! After secretly arranging and executing a (successful) flash-mob proposal on a London Overground train to Woking, a video cut together with mobile phone footage was put together by ASS Musical Director Adam Morris and subsequently uploaded onto YouTube.
In a little over a week the video reached 1,000,000 views, and Adam & Lucy's story had been run in newspapers, on TV news channels and radio stations all over the world! On 8 November 2011 the Adam Street Singers performed on BBC Radio 5 Live's Breakfast show... click below on the left to hear us on the radio or on the right to see the original film.
