4th May 2020 marked 10 years of the Adam Street Singers! The plan for the year was a celebration of all our fave arrangements and an open invite for all Adam Street allums to come back and get stuck into some show choir fun. Unfortunately our plans were cut short so we only got to fit in a few rehearsals. Hopefully we can pick it up again but until then we have this awesome mash-up arrangement by Philip Mitchell of Stole The Show / The Greatest Show / The Show Must Go On.
In mind of this mash-up, the Theatre Support Fund+, the team behind The Show Must Go campaign and Take Two Theatricals join forces to present The Show Must Go! Live at The Palace Theatre which will open 13 to 15 November for just four performances. All profits from The Show Must Go On Live concert tickets will be donated to Acting For Others and The Fleabag Support Fund.

Richie West (with support from The Adam Street Singers committee & the Pink Singers) organised a benefit concert called #SingForOrlando to raise money for families of the Orlando shooting victims. The benefit concert was held on Monday 20th June 2016 with 5 UK choirs including The Adam Street Singers, Pink Singers, The NHS Choir - Lewisham & Greenwich, London Gay Men's Chorus and Diversity Choir in conjunction with Equality Florida and the Pulse Victims Fund. All ticket sales and donations were transferred to the Pulse Victims Fund and we're pleased to say we raised a total of £4790.33 for the cause.

The choir had a great time performing in the Massive in China tent at Festibelly in the New Forest.
Giving some welly to our set list which included We Built This City, Something Inside so Strong, Joyful Joyful, I Need a Hero and much more. Along with the sunshine, watching other acts and hanging out with our Lindy Hop neighbours, it was a weekend to remember.

The Adam Street Singers were very pleased to perform at 10K for Crohns at Hyde Park
The event attracted their largest ever number of participants and raised a record £33,176 bringing their 2013 total raised to just over £58,000.

26th February 2012 - Choirs Rock 2012, Leeds
The Adam Street Singers were guest performers at Choirs Rock 2012, a choir competition held in the Royal Armouries in Leeds. It was a fantastic event which raised money for Cancer Research UK and local community charities.
The three judges were Kaiser Chiefs singer Ricky Wilson, experienced choir master Rev Chunky and Adam Street Singers' own Neil Robinson!
Leeds-based choirs The White Rosettes and Gay Abandon made it through to the sing-off stage and in a text vote it was Gay Abandon who took home the coveted Choirs Rock trophy.

Dressed in business attire and fake name badges the Adam Street singers slipped unnoticed among the 200+ attendees of the M-hance conference at the Chelsea Football Club.
Once everyone was seated the choir made their way to the stage while singing Viva La Vida/ Run and were finally joined on the stage by the MD to sing Lean on Me. |

1st November 2011, Train Flashmob Proposal, London
When choir member Adam King asked for our help with his proposal to long-term girlfriend Lucy Rogers, little did we know where it would lead! After secretly arranging and executing a successful flash-mob proposal on a London Overground train to Woking, a video cut together with mobile phone footage was put together and uploaded onto YouTube.
In a little over a week the video reached 1,000,000 views, and Adam & Lucy's story had been run in newspapers, on TV news channels and radio stations all over the world!

We played a set in the acoustic tent which went down an absolute storm! The Terrapin Acoustic Tent was packed with around 300 all singing, all dancing and all arm-waving audience members.
